DataBank’s Secure Intrusion Prevention Service (Secure IPS) is hosted at one of our managed data centers and is accessed via a secure managed circuit (Secure Networks).  Secure IPS is deployed in-line at the perimeter of your network as part of the network architecture, enabling DataBank to provide real-time network protection that prevents attacks from reaching critical assets.
 
Host applications and critical operating systems are protected against worms, Trojans, and viruses. Infrastructure elements, like routers, firewalls, e-mail, and DNS servers are protected against DoS attacks and other common compromises.  Mission-critical application performance is protected by eliminating or throttling rogue applications such as peer-to-peer and instant messaging.

We can also install and manage additional intrusion prevention appliances on internal network segments, at the core, and at remote site locations connected via Secure Networks.  DataBank centrally manages these powerful enforcement points to institute and enforce business-wide security policies.  This pervasive presence allows us to see all network traffic and protect against both external and internal attacks.

Secure Dedicated Internet Access (Secure DIA) is a redundant, multi-homed dedicated Internet access platform hosted at one of our managed data centers.  DataBank provides comprehensive total packet flow inspection through Layer 7 to continually cleanse network traffic and eradicate attacks before damage occurs.  We protect your infrastructure by blocking attacks at our data center before traffic is routed to you.
