DataBank Officially Qualifies for Minnesota Tax Incentives

State of Minnesota Data Center Sales Tax Program will greatly benefit clients of DataBank’s new Twin Cities facility

Minneapolis, MN – May 12, 2015 – DataBank, Ltd., a leading custom data center, managed services and cloud provider, announced today that the company’s new 90,000 sqft data center in Eagan was granted qualification in Minnesota’s data center tax incentive program.

The program, which is administered by Minnesota’s Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), will offer tax rebates on both purchased equipment and utilities for client deployments in DataBank’s (MSP-2) East Twin Cities facility. Minnesota has made very clear its intent to grow IT-centric business investment in the State. The program is not only geared to both incentivize and ease technology business entry, but also foster a technical workforce and revenue growth throughout the region.
