DataBank buys space for fourth Atlanta data center
DataBank has acquired 18 acres of land and an existing facility in suburban Atlanta to develop its fourth metro data center, ATL4, also known as the Lithia Springs Campus. Located adjacent to a power substation, the site will support up to 40MW of critical IT load and more than 200,000 square feet of initial data center space, with room for future expansion. ATL4 will be interconnected with DataBank’s ATL2 and ATL3 facilities via dark fiber. The acquisition reinforces DataBank’s strategy of owning its data center real estate, accelerating capacity delivery, and deepening its long-term commitment to the rapidly growing Atlanta market.
