DataBank has appointed Joe Minarik as Chief Operating Officer, strengthening its executive leadership as the company continues to scale its nationwide edge infrastructure platform. Minarik will oversee all operational functions, including data center and colocation operations, engineering, construction, managed services, network and security, and IT. A pioneer in cloud and data center infrastructure, Minarik brings more than 16 years of experience from Amazon, where he helped build AWS’s global data center and network footprint and most recently managed multi-billion-dollar supply strategy across dozens of regions. His appointment supports DataBank’s vision for a software-driven, enterprise-grade edge infrastructure experience.
