DataBank Celebrates Its San Diego Data Center Expansion

DataBank is holding a grand opening of its SAN1 data center.

Dallas, TX – April 27, 2023 – DataBank, a leading provider of enterprise-class colocation, connectivity, and managed services, celebrates the grand opening of its newly expanded San Diego data center, SAN1 at 12270 World Trade Drive. Attendees can register for the SAN1 grand opening event, which will be held from 1:00-6:00 p.m. on May 23, 2023.

This grand opening event celebrates DataBank’s latest mission-critical IT infrastructure expansion in the rapidly growing San Diego market to meet the new demand for increased capacity and mission-critical IT infrastructure and services.

“We are pleased to have completed this expansion, providing even more capacity to the San Diego market,” said Tony Qorri, vice president of data center construction at DataBank.

At the time of the ground opening, the San Diego facility will have 60,000 square feet of space, including 40,000 square feet of raised flooring and 7.5MW of power.

DataBank’s SAN1 grand opening ceremony will feature appearances and presentations by the DataBank leadership team, community leaders, and DataBank partners. During the networking opportunity, complimentary refreshments, gifts, and more will be available for registered guests. Attendees can experience DataBank’s Data Center Evolved™ model by taking a tour of this newly expanded facility during the event.
