DataBank has experienced explosive growth, tripling in size within a year and evolving from individual facilities to massive campus developments. Vice President of Construction Tony Qorri reports that projects have scaled dramatically from 20-40 acres to between 90-300 acres, with the company now building full campuses with multiple buildings and substations.

The company’s construction achievements include completing a 40-megawatt Atlanta data center a month ahead of schedule, finishing Denver’s fifth build that’s already nearly fully leased, and purchasing 300 acres south of Dallas for an eight-building, 480-megawatt development. DataBank maintains its momentum through strategic planning, early equipment orders, and strong supplier relationships.

“Our culture here is our biggest selling point, but that means your work is something you take home with you. It becomes part of your life.”
— Tony Qorri, VP of Construction at DataBank

Qorri’s internal construction team has grown from 3 to 14 people while maintaining a lean, high-performance culture focused on excellence. The company prioritizes cultural fit in hiring, with Qorri preferring to interview 40 candidates rather than make quick hires that don’t align with their demanding work environment.

DataBank’s strategic planning has enabled the company to navigate supply chain challenges and maintain perfect project timelines, with construction planned through 2030. The rapid expansion positions DataBank among Deloitte’s Fast 500 fastest-growing companies.
