Ask for the current carrier and cloud provider list, typical provisioning times, the pricing model over multi-year terms, support for software-defined interconnection, and any restrictions on cross-connects between facilities. Also ask how they invest in expanding the ecosystem over time. Providers that cannot answer these questions clearly are usually not built around interconnection as a strategic capability.
